Qatar’s beIN Media Group and Wizart ink broadcast deal for YOKO
The brightest character of the Russian studio Wizart Yoko will speak Arabic soon! The Middle Eastern media group beIN has purchased the series for its TV channels. WIZART has announced a broadcast agreement with leading kids channels Jeem TV and Baraem in Middle East region for preschool hit Yoko at MIPCOM market. ‘YOKO was selected during one of the previous MIP markets, because we believe it to be educational, entertaining, and a fun time show for the entire family. We are very fortunate, as we have acquired the series, interactive episodes, and a movie!’- Mr. Saad Saleh Al Hudaifi, Executive Director of Kids Content & Channels, MENA comments. The premiere of the series is to be held in December of this year on the television channel of the holding BARAEM. Being part of beIN Media Group, Baraem is recognized as the first dedicated pre-school channel for Arab children.
Jetpack Distribution, a partner of Wizart in the international sales of the "Yoko" series, has concluded a number of agreements, according to which the cartoon will be seen in Canada, Portugal, India and Sri Lanka.
