"YOKO" SERIES WINS NEW COUNTRIES
Jetpack Distribution has signed a number of new broadcast agreements for "Yoko", an animated series for preschoolers, created by Wizart Series in conjunction with the Spanish studios Somuga and Dibulitoon, as well as with the Spanish TVE TVE.
The international distributor signed an agreement with the BBC Knowledge channel on granting him exclusive rights to broadcast "Yoko" in pay-TV and SVOD-services (subscriber video on demand), while Portuguese Canal Panda acquired exclusive rights to display on paid television and non-exclusive - on SVOD-services. Also, a final agreement was reached with Sun TV, which received exclusive rights to broadcast on paid TV channels in India and Sri Lanka. The beginning of the broadcasting of "Yoko" in these territories is planned for the current year.
The rights to produce licensed goods of the series "Yoko" was acquired by the Russian-German company Bauer. The characters of the cartoon will be integrated into the line of children's designers. The agreements were also signed with Russian DUM (wooden toys) and "Alliance" (kits for creativity). Bizak will be the main partner for the sale of licensed goods "Yoko" in Spain. Plush toys, plastic figurines and designers will go on sale next winter.
